A Little Context

For the past three decades, I've built a career in hospitality, working at the corporate level, operating my own businesses, and serving people from both sides of the table.

When you spend that much time at the service of others, you learn a few things about people. You learn how trust is built, how communication breaks down, and how small moments shape the decisions people make.

Those lessons shape the way I think about websites today.

The notes below are a collection of things I've picked up on while helping people think differently about their websites, their messaging, and the way they connect with the people they serve.

Things I’ve Picked Up On

The longer I do this work, the less interested I become in quick fixes and easy answers.

What continues to interest me are the small things that shape trust, influence decisions, and help people feel understood.

Most of these notes started there.
